Christmas Night Out at
Jimmy Chungs

• have or had an alcohol problem,
• wish to engage in healthy and leisurely activities in preference to resuming their  previous lifestyle.

It provides an opportunity for members to meet and socialise within a range of social settings that are based around activities which are in themselves healthy, educational and constructive.

A major activity of the group is membership at the Beach Leisure Centre or Bon-Accord Baths where passes are available for only £1 for 2 visits.  These can be used to work out at the gym, or relax in the sauna or steam room.  Members can go alone or be accompanied if they wish.

The group organise trips each week based on the interests of group members.  We have been curling, played golf, gone fishing, visited castles, attended football matches, and visited the Scottish Parliament.

We also run cooking and first aid classes, as well as weekly outings to the theatre, cinema, bingo and a monthly meal in a restaurant chosen by the members. 

The usual cost for these activities is £3.00 although some are free.

The group meet regularly to plan activities.
