Gordon Street House
 Following
changes being made to ensure compliance with Fire and
Environmental Regulations as well as standards set by the Care
Commission, Gordon Street House
received its Certificate of Registration from the Care Commission on the
13th July 2006 so
is now up and running.
It will be used as a half way
house, accommodating 2 people at a time, who have been in the hostel and stabilised for at least
a two month period but are not
yet able to move back to a tenancy of their own.
Gordon Street is not
staffed, although clients will have regular structured support from
Albyn House. Gordon Street will allow clients more independence and a
chance to practice skills such as cooking and budgeting.
