Support Worker (Integrated Alcohol Service) £17,820—£19,311 per annum ¨ Excellent opportunity forming part of the Integrated Alcohol Service providing care and support for clients with alcohol related problems. ¨ The Support Worker, will deliver an agreed Careplan and will support cases where the drinker is moderately or severely dependent upon alcohol and needs help and support to undertake a range of activities. ¨ The postholder will be involved in providing a keyworking service and co-ordinating rehabilitation activity for clients who need assistance with housing, employability, social skills and financial issues. ¨ Whilst the post is based at Cornhill Hospital, there will be a need to undertake work with individual client groups in other locations. ¨ HNC Social Care / SVQ level 3 or equivalent qualifications under Scottish Social Services Council Qualifications. ¨ Minimum 3 years experience preferably within the field of substance misuse.
